“Toronto Sees Shocking Arrest: Man Accused of Threatening Parking Officer’s Life”

In a recent incident in East York, a Toronto resident faces legal consequences after reportedly attacking a Parking Enforcement Officer (PEO).

According to authorities, on Jan. 31, a man parked his vehicle near Pape and Westwood avenues and was issued a ticket by a PEO. The situation escalated when the man allegedly made threats towards the officer and physically assaulted him. Despite the PEO’s attempts to escape, the man pursued him.

Law enforcement quickly responded to the scene, apprehended the suspect, and luckily, no injuries were sustained during the altercation.

Junior Frederick Peltier, aged 53, has been formally charged with uttering death threats and assaulting a peace officer. His court appearance is set for March 12.
