“London, Ont. Incident Involving Hazardous Chemicals Not Linked to Terrorism, Confirm Police”

London Police Confirm Arrests of Four University Students on Firearms and Explosives Charges
Authorities in London, Ontario, have clarified that the recent arrest of four individuals, who were found with hazardous chemicals in a residence near Western University, is not linked to terrorism. While specific details about the case remain undisclosed, Detective Superintendent Sean Travis revealed during a press briefing that all four suspects have ties to Western University, either as current or former students.

The individuals in question, identified as Jerry Tong, Zekun Wang, Fei Han, and Feiyang Ji, were taken into custody following an incident reported as a trespassing at the university campus. Subsequent police operations led to the seizure of firearms and explosives, prompting charges against the accused. Search warrants were executed at properties in London, Ottawa, and Gatineau, Quebec.

London law enforcement is also investigating a YouTube video allegedly featuring Tong and two others working on a truck-mounted anti-drone system, though it is unrelated to the charges pressed against the suspects for firearm-related offenses.
