An accident in Mississauga resulted in two women getting injured, with one being in critical condition. The incident, involving two vehicles, led to the arrest of a male driver.
The collision occurred at the intersection of Mississauga Road and Beaverbrook Way on Monday evening, prompting Peel police to respond to the scene just before 6:30 p.m.
Following the crash, one of the women was swiftly transported to a trauma center in critical condition, while the other was taken to a nearby hospital for minor injuries.
Law enforcement took the male driver into custody at the site of the accident. Further information regarding the driver’s arrest has not yet been disclosed by the police.
