Excited supporters gathered at the Shark Club in downtown Vancouver to rally behind their team competing at the Milano Cortina Olympic Winter Games.
In a nail-biting encounter, Canada succumbed to a 2-1 loss in overtime, with Kristin O’Neill initially putting the Great White North in the lead early in the second period.
Despite the heartbreak, fans applauded Canada for their journey to the gold medal final.
While reflecting on the match, one fan remarked, “We may have been underdogs, but there’s no shame in our game.”
