Montreal police reportedly arrested a suspect in connection to a fatal shooting at a downtown Montreal park Tuesday morning.
A 33-year-old man was shot around 12:45 a.m. in Place de la Paix, a small park located near Saint-Laurent and René-Lévesque Boulevards.
He was pronounced dead on scene by first responders.

The suspect fled before the police arrived. CityNews has learned it only took investigators two days to track him down.
The 43-year-old suspect appeared via videoconference at the Montreal courthouse Thursday and is charged with first-degree murder.
The man has reportedly been previously convicted of second-degree murder in Ontario.
