A motorcyclist was killed in a collision in Saint-Denis-sur-Richelieu, Montérégie.
Emergency services were called to Route 137 at around 10:30 p.m. on Friday evening, near Chemin Leblanc, where the motorcyclist lost control of his vehicle.
“According to initial information, the motorcyclist was travelling northbound on route 137 when he went off the road on a curve,” explained Laurie Avoine, spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec (SQ).
The man in his sixties was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
No one else was involved when the vehicle lost control.
“A patrol officer trained in collision investigation went to the scene to clarify the circumstances of the event,” said Avoine.
