Police Nab Suspect in Chilling Kitsilano Bus Stabbing Incident

One person has been arrested following a stabbing on a bus in Kitsilano on Sunday.

The Vancouver Police Department says officers arrived at the scene after receiving reports of a stabbing near the Burrard Bridge before 3 a.m. on July 20.

Officers found a 22-year-old man with life-threatening injuries. The victim was transported to the hospital for medical treatment.

A 28-year-old suspect was arrested near Burrard Street and Cornwall Avenue.

The suspect remains in custody and is facing charges of aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
