The Crescent Street Grand Prix Festival returns May 21 to 24 for its 25th anniversary edition, with more than 600,000 people expected to attend the four-day downtown event.
What began as a small street gathering tied to race weekend has grown into one of Canada’s largest free festivals, drawing locals and international visitors to Crescent Street each year for live music, brand activations and a high-energy atmosphere.
Organizers say the milestone highlights the enduring appeal of in-person events in an increasingly digital world. Produced by Segal Entertainment, the festival continues to focus on shared, real-life experiences that bring people together.

This year’s edition will feature live performances, DJs, contests and appearances by athletes and influencers, alongside interactive installations from a range of sponsors. Automotive showcases will once again play a central role, reflecting the festival’s connection to Montreal’s race weekend.
The event also remains a boost for downtown businesses, driving heavy foot traffic to nearby restaurants, bars and shops in collaboration with the Crescent Street Merchants Association.
As it marks 25 years, the festival is positioning itself for continued growth, with organizers promising new programming and announcements in the lead-up to the May event.
