After Thursday’s extreme heat, Montrealers are getting a bit of a break from the hot weather today.
Friday morning starting with a few showers, cooling down with a high of 27 °C. Showers expected to end in the afternoon then cloudy for the reminder of the day.
Friday evening’s forecast calling for a few clouds and a comfortable low of 18°C.
However, that hot summer weather is returning for the weekend – and sticking around for a while.
The sunshine is forecasted to remain for the weekend with a high of high 29 °C for Saturday and a high of 32°C for Sunday.
Hot weather continuing for early next week, with Monday’s forecast calling for sunny and a high of 32 °C. A low of 22°C during the evening.
Tuesday calling for a mix of sun and cloud, with a high of 31 °C and a low of 17 °C.
A mix of sun and clouds forecast for Wednesday and Thursday but cooling off a little, with highs of 26 °C and 25 °C respectively.
Environment Canada is reminding people to take steps to prevent heatstroke when temperatures are high. It’s also important to check on seniors, those living alone, and others at risk.
