Middle-Aged Man Stabbed in Violent Côte-Saint-Luc Brawl

A 51-year-old man was stabbed when a fight escalated in Côte-Saint-Luc, on the island of Montreal, on Sunday evening.

The conflict erupted around 10 p.m. at the intersection of Cavendish Blvd. and Fleet Road in Côte-Saint-Luc, located in the west-central part of the island of Montreal.

When police arrived at the scene, they found the man on the ground, suffering from “several injuries to his body.”

“According to information obtained from various witnesses, the man was possibly stabbed with a sharp object,” said Constable Johany Charland, spokesperson for the Montreal Police (SPVM).

The man was hospitalized, but his life is not believed to be in danger.

No suspects have been immediately arrested. SPVM has opened an investigation to shed light on the circumstances surrounding this event.
