Police in Port Moody are seeking the public’s help identifying three people accused of stealing mail from a residential building earlier this month.
The Port Moody Police Department says the trio entered Suter Brook Village near the intersection of Murray Street and Ioco Road on July 11. CCTV cameras caught them allegedly prying open mailboxes in a mail room and “making off with mail.”
The three are also suspected of a series of break-ins in storage lockers and vehicles in the same building.
Police have released an image of the three suspects.
The first suspect is described as a man with a heavy build, who was wearing dark clothing and a red hat. The second suspect is described as a woman with a medium build, wearing a black shirt, light blue shorts, and a black baseball cap. The third suspect is described as a man with a slim build, wearing dark clothing and a BC Lions-branded bucket hat.
“So far, we have been unsuccessful in identifying these suspects and we are now turning to the public for assistance,” said Const. Sam Zacharias.
“Anyone who can identify these individuals is asked to contact us or Crime Stoppers, if they wish to remain anonymous.”
