Toronto police took to social media at 8:20 p.m. to alert the public of an ongoing shooting at the festival grounds near St. Clair and Arlington Avenues.
Responding to the scene, authorities discovered seven individuals with gunshot injuries, with two succumbing to their wounds at the scene.

By 9 p.m., law enforcement had secured the area, imposing cordons on multiple blocks along St. Clair Avenue.
No arrests have been made yet, and police have not disclosed details on potential suspects in connection with the incident.
In an official statement, police noted, “A significant police presence remains in place as the investigation continues. Please steer clear of the vicinity and heed instructions from emergency personnel.”
