A man was critically wounded in a stabbing incident at the scenic lakefront of the city.
The incident unfolded at Queens Quay West and Dan Leckie Way area in Toronto, prompting a swift response from the local police just before 7:30 p.m. on a recent Saturday. The victim was discovered at the scene with stab injuries and was promptly transported to the hospital for treatment of serious but not life-threatening wounds.
Law enforcement officials are currently on the lookout for at least one suspect who fled the vicinity following the altercation. Described as approximately five-feet-four with a slender physique, the suspect was last spotted donning a blue shirt and blue jeans.
