Peel Regional Police are currently on the lookout for a man suspected of committing separate acts of sexual assault against two individuals in Brampton on Monday.
According to authorities, a woman in her 20s was at a shopping mall near Dixie Road and Clark Boulevard at noon when an unidentified man reportedly approached her from behind and inappropriately touched her. The woman managed to push the suspect away, leave the scene, and promptly informed the police of the incident.
Shortly thereafter, around 2 p.m., a minor under the age of 18 was waiting at a bus terminal located at Central Park Drive and Queen Street East when she too was approached by an unknown man. Allegedly, the man engaged the girl in conversation before making unwanted physical advances, touching her breast and buttocks. The victim promptly left the area and reported the incident to authorities.
Investigators believe that the suspect involved in both incidents is the same individual. He is described as a Black male, standing approximately between five foot eight and 10 inches tall, with a medium to heavy build and estimated to be in his mid-30s to 40s. The suspect is noted to have short black hair, either closely cropped or styled in short braids, along with patchy facial hair.
Peel Regional Police are urging anyone with relevant information to come forward and assist in their investigation.
