Abir Batikhi, a resident of Montreal, is facing a distressing situation as her beloved cat, Caramel, has been missing for over two weeks now. The concerning ordeal began when Caramel mysteriously disappeared from her carrier during a flight from Jordan to Toronto Pearson International Airport on August 17.
Reports suggest that Caramel was last spotted at Pearson’s Terminal 3, specifically near Gate 29 or 30, areas considered off-limits to the general public. Batikhi, deeply worried about her furry companion, took to social media, appealing for help in locating Caramel before any harm befalls her.
Toronto Pearson Airport, upon being informed by Royal Jordanian Airlines about the missing cat, promptly initiated search efforts. The airport’s wildlife team has been conducting rigorous daily searches in various airport sections, deploying live-capture traps in hopes of safely finding Caramel.
Described as a white and orange short-haired cat with a microchip, Caramel’s safe return is paramount to her owner. Despite attempts to reach out to Royal Jordanian Airlines for further information, CityNews has yet to receive a response.
