“Montreal Apartment Horror: 33-Year-Old Woman Brutally Stabbed in Violent Attack”

A 33-year-old woman was reportedly stabbed Sunday morning in an apartment in the Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough of Montreal.

The attack allegedly took place around 9:25 a.m. in a residence on Grenet Street, not far from Michel-Sarrazin Street, explained Jean-Pierre Brabant, spokesperson for the Montreal Police Service (SPVM).

When they arrived on the scene, police found the woman with upper body injuries caused by a sharp object.

She was taken to a hospital for injuries considered serious.

The 34-year-old suspect was arrested by police inside an apartment after a search of the building to find him.

The man was taken to a hospital for injuries that are not life-threatening. He will be interviewed by investigators as soon as his condition allows to determine his involvement in the events.

A security perimeter has been set up. Investigators were on their way to the scene late this morning to analyze the scene and try to understand the circumstances surrounding this assault.
