Multi-day heat warning ends for Montreal

The multi-day heat warning that affected Montreal has officially come to an end on Thursday, and Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) is forecasting a beautiful end to the week.

The warning that began gripping the city on Sunday resulted with three heat-related deaths reported to Montreal’s public health department.

Now as temperatures are easing, a mix of sun and cloud is expected today with a daytime high of 28°C — but feeling more like 33°C with the humidex.

Come Friday, the weather agency is forecasting that the end of the week will be filled with more sunshine, and it should feel like 29°C with the humidity.

Sunny on Saturday as well, a high of 32°C. Increase of cloudiness at night with a low of 22°C.

Come Sunday though, those clouds are expected to rain and a 60 per cent chance of rain is in the forecast for now. This potential wet weather mixed with a daytime high of 25°C.

The start of next week then should be met with sunny skies and 24°C.
