Mobilité Montréal is informing road users that “major disruptions” are expected this weekend, recommending for people to plan ahead.
HIGHWAY 25 / LOUIS-HIPPOLYTE-LA FONTAINE TUNNEL
From Friday 11 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m.
In Montreal, complete closure of Highway 25 South, between Exit 5 (Sherbrooke Street) and the Souligny Avenue entrance.Detour: via Boucherville, Hochelaga, Dickson South, and Souligny Avenue East.
Default: 30 minutes before, Sherbrooke Street entrance.
ÎLE-AUX-TOURTES BRIDGE / HIGHWAY 40
From Friday 11:59 p.m. to Sunday 5:00 a.m.
Complete closure of the Île-aux-Tourtes Bridge, between Vaudreuil-Dorion and Senneville, on the Island of Montreal.
EASTBOUND
Detour: Upstream, via the ramp to A-30 East, exit 5 to A-20 East and exit 39 to des Anciens-Combattants Blvd. For trucks, exit 60 (A-13 North).
Default closures: starting at 11:00 p.m.
At the A-30/A-40 interchange, the ramp leading from the A-40 to the A-40 East.Access from Saint-Charles Avenue / de la Cité-des-Jeunes Blvd. and Chemin des Chenaux. Detour: via the access to A-40 West and the ramp to A-30 East.
WESTBOUND
Detour: at exit 41, via des Anciens-Combattants Blvd. South, A-20 West and exit 29 to A-30 West. For trucks, optional routes upstream via exits 60 (A-13 South) or 50 (Boulevard Saint-Charles). Towards Chemin des Chenaux and Avenue Saint-Charles, via exit 2 (de la Cité-des-Jeunes Blvd.) on the A-30 West.

Exit 40 (Chemin de Senneville)Detour: via des Anciens-Combattants Blvd. South and Pacific Avenue
Note: Senneville Road, Tenaquip, and Belvédère Cemetery will be accessible to residents via an escort that will begin near the intersection of the A-40 West service road and Sainte-Marie Road.
Pins Street, between Sainte-Marie Road and Poultry Cottages Street.Detour: via Ste-Marie Road, des Anciens-Combattants Blvd., A-40 East service road and Poultry Cottages Street // Poultry Cottages Street, A-40 East service road for des Anciens-Combattants Blvd., Chemin Sainte-Marie, and Des Pins Street.
Congestion alert: The MTMD recommends that road users traveling in the area allow extra time to reach their destination.
The public is encouraged to use public transit and take advantage of the mitigation measures in place. The toll will be suspended in both directions on Highway 30 / Serge-Marcil Bridge to provide an additional alternative.
CÔTE-DE-LIESSE ROAD
From Friday 10 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m.
In Montreal (Saint-Laurent Borough) and Town of Mount Royal, east of the Décarie interchange, on Côte-de-Liesse Road (A-40 service roads)
In both directions, complete closure between Côte-de-Liesse Road West and Dion Street.
Detour:
Westbound, access to Hébert, Laperrière, and Houde Streets is closed.
Detour:
On Sainte-Croix Avenue North, under the A-40, 1 lane open. Trucks: on Sainte-Croix Avenue North, no left turn onto Côte-de-Liesse Road West.
Detour via Dion Street, Décarie Blvd. South, and the Marcel-Laurin Blvd. Turning Circle.
“Possible traffic delays in the area,” the Ministry said. “Work is under the responsibility of Hydro-Québec on the municipal network.”
SAINT-JACQUES STREET
From Friday 10 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m.
In Montreal (Ville-Marie borough), Saint-Jacques Street is completely closed eastbound, between des Seigneurs and Guy Streets.
Detour: Des Seigneurs Street, Notre-Dame Street, Guy Street, and Saint-Jacques Street. Trucks: via des Seigneurs Street, Notre-Dame Street, la Montagne Street, and Saint-Jacques Street.
The Ministry also noted that the LASSO Festival will be taking place at Parc Jean-Drapeau on Aug. 15 and 16.
“The LASSO Festival will be held at Parc Jean-Drapeau. Parking is limited on site, and traffic on the Jacques-Cartier Bridge can be heavy,” they explained. “It is strongly recommended to use the metro on the yellow line to Jean-Drapeau station. Laviolette Bridge – A-55 / Trois-Rivières and Bécancour.”

METROPOLITAN EXPRESS NETWORK – REM
Complete closure of the REM until Aug. 17 where several roadworks are planned for the network’s next reopening.
“Plan your trips,” the Ministry explained. “Many options are available to users who need to travel between the South Shore and downtown Montreal.

Bonaventure Expressway / JCCBI sector
Closure of Pointe-Nord Road / de l’Île-des-Sœurs Blvd. / Jacques-Leber Street to A-10 West / Downtown until September. Detour via A-15 North / Exit 60 to Gaétan-Laberge Blvd.
At Peel Basin / Victoria Bridge, closure of one of three lanes in each direction until December.
On Clément Bridge, contraflow traffic – one lane in each direction – until December.
Please note: Trucks: at the end of the Samuel De Champlain Bridge, at Exit 58 toward Highway 10 West/Downtown, one lane out of two will be closed, and the lane width will be 4 meters.
