“Major Crackdown in Mississauga: Six Detained, Arsenal of Illegal Weapons Seized”

Six individuals have been apprehended by Peel Regional Police in Mississauga, following a string of proactive investigations that led to the discovery of illegal firearms. The incidents unfolded between Sept. 19 and Sept. 21, 2025, during multiple traffic stops in various locations.

Police initiated four separate investigations after finding occupants of vehicles in violation of the Cannabis Control Act and/or the Liquor Licence and Control Act. Subsequent searches of the vehicles revealed illegal firearms in each case.

Those arrested and charged with firearm-related offences include Revi Kumar, 28, of Toronto, Dena Jokhu, 27, of Ajax, Angelinah Nicholson, 20, David Campbell, 20, both from Brampton, Sean Jackson, 48, of Toronto, and Nathan Davis, 29, of Toronto.

Kumar and Jokhu face charges such as unauthorized possession and possession of a loaded restricted firearm. Nicholson and Campbell were charged with possession of a loaded prohibited firearm and careless storage. Jackson was also charged with firearm offences after a weapon was discovered in his vehicle.

Davis, who attempted to flee on foot after committing a Highway Traffic Act offence, was found with a loaded firearm and in violation of court orders. In addition to firearm-related charges, Davis faces counts of failing to comply with an undertaking, breach of recognizance, and breach of probation.

All six individuals were detained for bail hearings and appeared in court. Peel Regional Police encourage anyone with information on these incidents to come forward.
