A gray and damp pattern is taking hold this week, beginning today with a mix of sun and cloud before skies turn fully overcast this morning. Periods of rain are expected to develop, bringing 15 to 25 mm of precipitation through the day. Winds will shift to the northeast at around 20 km/h by noon, with a cool high of 10 C.
Showers and drizzle will linger into tonight before tapering off overnight, leaving behind cloudy skies and a low of 6 C as winds ease.
Midweek won’t offer much relief. Wednesday stays mostly cloudy with a 30 per cent chance of showers and a high of 12 C, before steadier rain returns overnight. The unsettled pattern continues through Thursday and Friday, with repeated periods of rain and daytime highs climbing into the mid-to-high teens.
By the weekend, conditions remain mostly cloudy, with intermittent chances of showers both Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures cool again by Sunday, with a high near 10 C and a chilly overnight low dipping below freezing.
A modest improvement arrives Monday, with a return to a mix of sun and cloud, though temperatures will remain on the cooler side, with a high near 5 C.
Overall, expect a soggy and changeable stretch, with rain dominating much of the forecast before a brief break early next week.
