Longueuil police have issued a public appeal to locate a 35-year-old man wanted on several charges tied to a domestic violence investigation.
Andres Felipe Munoz is the subject of an arrest warrant for alleged probation breaches, assault, harassing communications and criminal harassment.
Authorities say Munoz cut off and discarded his court-ordered anti-contact monitoring bracelet after learning he was being sought, and investigators have since been unable to locate him. He is also wanted in connection with that act.
Police believe he could be in the Montreal or Saint-Hyacinthe areas, but say he may be elsewhere in Quebec or even outside the province. They have not ruled out the possibility he may have crossed into the United States.
Officials are urging anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact Longueuil police at au 450-463-7211.
