Subway Service Disruption Between Union and St. George Stations Due to Fire Incident
Subway riders on Line 1 Yonge-University are facing a service disruption today as the TTC has halted operations between Union and St. George stations. The reason behind this interruption is a fire incident that occurred earlier.
At approximately 5:36 p.m., Toronto Fire received the call regarding the fire, but details about the location and cause remain unclear for now. Commuters are left wondering when the service will return to normal.
To assist passengers, the TTC suggested utilizing east and west bus as well as streetcar routes to navigate through the downtown area and access subway services on the Yonge side of Line 1.
