Kelowna Police Investigate Suspicious Death of Woman Found in Vehicle
Kelowna authorities responded to a call regarding suspicious circumstances on July 7 near Baillie Avenue and Ethel Street, leading them to discover a deceased woman in the back of a vehicle.
The local RCMP confirmed that upon arriving at the scene, they found the deceased woman and classified the circumstances surrounding her death as suspicious.
A man known to the victim was present at the scene and has been taken into custody. However, he has since been released under specific reporting conditions.
The Kelowna RCMP Serious Crime Unit has taken charge of the investigation to unravel the events leading up to the woman’s death.
