BIXI Expands to Dorval with 66 Bicycles and 6 Stations
Good news for Dorval residents and visitors – BIXI, the popular bike-sharing service, is making its way to the area! The service recently revealed plans to introduce 66 bicycles and set up six convenient stations in Dorval.
What’s exciting is that these stations will offer both electric and regular bicycles, catering to diverse preferences. Positioned strategically near sports facilities, green spaces, the waterfront, and the Dorval train station, these stations are easily accessible for everyone.
Christian Vermette, the general manager of BIXI Montréal, expressed his enthusiasm for this expansion in Dorval. He highlighted how this move will not only enhance their presence in the western part of the Island of Montreal but also provide more people with convenient and sustainable mobility options.
To locate the stations and check bike availability, users can simply use the BIXI mobile app or visit the website. This step marks another positive stride towards making bike-sharing more accessible and user-friendly for all.
