On Monday afternoon, a senior was quickly taken to the hospital after a significant accident occurred in Scarborough.
The incident took place in the Port Union vicinity, close to Lawrence Avenue East and Charlottetown Boulevard, shortly before 4 p.m., prompting the immediate response of emergency services.
According to Toronto police, the collision involved two vehicles, one of which veered into a building.
The driver, a woman in her 70s, sustained serious injuries and was swiftly transported to a hospital for treatment. Additionally, another woman in her 40s was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
