A part of Line 5 Eglinton faces service disruption on Monday due to smoke detected in one of the train cars.
Toronto Fire Department responded to a call at Eglinton Avenue East at 10 a.m. regarding a potential fire in a westbound car.
Upon arrival, crews discovered smoke in the train car, prompting the evacuation of passengers. The smoke was successfully cleared out, and the power supply to the upper main line was cut off as a precaution.
