Abbotsford Police Attribute Rollover Crash to Speeding, Minor Injuries Reported
Authorities in Abbotsford are attributing a recent rollover crash to excessive speed, with the driver, a novice driver, sustaining minor injuries. The incident occurred on Tuesday night near Clearbrook Road and Oak Avenue, where witnesses observed the vehicle traveling at speeds exceeding 90 kilometres per hour before colliding with another car.
The impact caused the vehicle to flip over and eventually come to rest on top of an electrical box, resulting in damage to two parked vehicles nearby. Despite the severity of the crash, the driver escaped with only minor injuries, and fortunately, there were no other casualties.
Following the incident, the driver was cited for “Driving Without Due Care and Attention,” and the vehicle was removed from the scene by a tow truck.
