Toronto police have apprehended a suspect following a stabbing incident near Allan Gardens, where a man in his 60s was discovered with stab wounds.
Police responded to a call in the George Street and Gerrard Street East area around 2:30 p.m. reporting the stabbing. Upon arrival, they located the victim with injuries and promptly transported him to the hospital in serious but stable condition.
Although a man has been taken into custody, authorities have not disclosed the relationship between the suspect and the victim or the circumstances surrounding the altercation.
