Peel Regional Police are currently conducting an investigation following an incident where a man sought medical help for a stab wound he received during an altercation in Mississauga. The incident took place in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Reports came in around 4 a.m. about a man in distress in the vicinity of Cawthra Road and Lakeshore Road East. Upon arrival, law enforcement found a 33-year-old man with a stab wound that, fortunately, was not life-threatening. He was promptly taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance for medical attention.
Authorities are actively working to piece together the timeline and circumstances surrounding the injury, suspecting that the altercation took place overnight.
