Police Launch Manhunt for Hit-and-Run Driver After Woman Injured in Wallace-Emerson Incident

Toronto authorities seek driver following pedestrian accident in Lansdowne-Dupont area.

Authorities responded to a call near Lansdowne and Brandon Avenue after 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, reporting a pedestrian hit by a small, grey vehicle with a possible broken windshield that fled the scene.

The victim, a woman in her 20s, sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital.

The investigation into the incident is currently ongoing.
