A pilot is currently hospitalized following a plane crash in the vicinity of Barrie, as reported by provincial police.
According to the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), they were alerted to an aircraft incident near Clearview Township on a Saturday afternoon. The plane went down in a forested area.
Upon arriving at the scene, authorities discovered the 46-year-old pilot with non-life-threatening injuries. He was promptly transported to a nearby hospital and later airlifted to a trauma center in the Toronto area.
Authorities have informed Transport Canada about the crash.
