A 28-year-old woman sustained severe injuries after a garbage truck struck and trapped her in the Fashion District of the city. The incident took place on Adelaide Street West close to Brant Street around 10 a.m. on a Friday morning. Emergency responders managed to rescue the woman from under the truck and she was rushed to the hospital with injuries that are said to be life-changing.
