At around 5:30 p.m., emergency services responded to the intersection of Bathurst Street and Lonsmount Drive after receiving reports of a woman being hit by a vehicle.
The driver stayed at the scene, and the pedestrian, who suffered significant injuries, was swiftly transported to the hospital by paramedics for urgent medical care.
As authorities conduct an investigation, roads in the vicinity have been temporarily closed off for public safety.
