The leaders of British Columbia’s top political parties are set to present their election plans to business leaders in Vancouver as the provincial election draws near.
Scheduled to speak at an event hosted by the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade are NDP Leader David Eby, Conservative interim leader Lorne Doerkson, and Green Party Leader Emily Lowan. While the leaders won’t engage in a debate, each will have the opportunity to address the audience.
Following their speeches, board president Bridgitte Anderson will lead a question-and-answer session.
The event aims to give attendees a firsthand look at the leaders’ visions for the province and their priorities for B.C.’s future.
A televised leaders’ debate is scheduled for the Wednesday before election day on Oct. 24.
