In a high-stakes showdown, the top figures of three provincial parties in British Columbia are set to engage in a live, televised debate tonight, marking the final face-off before the upcoming election weekend.
David Eby of the New Democrats, Lorne Doerkson acting as interim B.C. Conservative Leader, and Green Leader Emily Lowan will clash in a battle of wits just 10 days before the citizens of British Columbia cast their votes.
Notably absent from the debate stage will be OneBC’s Dallas Brodie and CentreBC’s Elenore Sturko, as their parties lacked official status in the B.C. legislature upon dissolution.
The debate, hosted by the B.C. Broadcast Consortium, will be skillfully moderated by Shachi Kurl, president of the respected Angus Reid Institute.
Viewers can catch the intense debate live on CityNews Vancouver 24/7 from 6:15 p.m. to 8 p.m.
