During the Thursday morning commute, REM service at Panama station faces disruptions due to obstructed doors, affecting the A3 – Anse-à-l’Orme and A4 – Deux-Montagnes lines.
Around 6:30 a.m., the light rail service announced that trains on these lines will not be stopping at Panama station. However, service remains normal at other stations.
For commuters at Panama station heading towards A3 – Anse-à-l’Orme or A4 – Deux-Montagnes, a temporary solution is in place. They can take the REM to Du Quartier Station and then board the next departing train on Platform 1. Similarly, passengers at Brossard or Du Quartier stations looking to reach Panama Station can take the REM to Île-des-Sœurs Station and catch the next departing train on Platform 2.
Crews are actively working to resolve the issue, and an update is expected by 8 a.m.
