During the inquest’s third day, a poignant compilation video was presented to jurors. It featured five 911 calls, police communications, and CCTV footage capturing the events leading up to the incident that occurred on May 27, 2020.
In the recordings, Korchinski-Paquet’s mother and brother can be heard reporting a dispute that erupted between them following the young woman’s earlier seizures. Desperate and struggling to breathe, Korchinski-Paquet herself made distressing calls to 911, revealing her difficulty in controlling herself after the altercation.
