Two Quebec families recently experienced frightening incidents involving tampered lug nuts on their vehicles, raising concerns about a potential dangerous social media challenge. Léonie Pelletier was driving on Highway 10 with her three children when she noticed a driver signaling for her to pull over, leading her to discover missing lug nuts on one of her wheels. Another Quebecer, Raphaël Blais, also found loosened lug nuts on his vehicle, which he later discovered was part of a concerning trend. Multiple reports of similar incidents have surfaced, prompting warnings from authorities to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
