Authorities Seek Eyewitnesses Following Woman’s Mysterious Cliff Fall at Lynn Canyon Park

The North Vancouver RCMP is requesting assistance from potential witnesses following a distressing incident where a tourist tumbled off a cliff into the stunning Lynn Canyon Valley.

According to authorities, quick-thinking first responders came to the aid of a woman in her 50s, who suffered a 30-meter fall and was subsequently taken to the hospital for treatment of severe injuries.

Reports indicate that the victim, an American visitor, was part of a tourist group exploring Lynn Canyon Park with a tour guide. The unfortunate event unfolded in the vicinity of the north end of the suspension bridge while the group was being guided around the popular Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge.

The police have initiated an inquiry into the matter and are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or may have recorded it on their mobile devices to reach out by dialing 604-985-1311.

Corporal Mansoor Sahak, the media relations officer for the North Vancouver RCMP, stated, “We are reaching out to potential witnesses who might have observed the incident or captured it on their phones.”
