Montreal police have apprehended five individuals regarding a recent burglary at a residence in Mont-Royal.
The Montreal Police Department (SPVM) responded to a 911 call reporting a potential break-in on Laird Boulevard around 2:50 a.m. last Friday.
Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered multiple suspects on the premises and promptly secured the area.
Fortunately, despite the presence of seven individuals inside the targeted house during the incident, no injuries were reported.
Investigators recovered significant evidence at the scene, leading to the arrest of five suspects spanning from 15 to 21 years old, as confirmed by Jeanne Drouin, spokesperson for the SPVM.
The investigation into the matter is currently ongoing to gather more information and ensure justice is served.
