Toronto police have apprehended a man for allegedly distributing explicit materials to children at a park in the east end.
Authorities responded to a report of suspicious activity at Withrow Park near Logan and Danforth avenues on Thursday, December 18, 2025, following complaints from parents about a man distributing papers with inappropriate content to their children.
The suspect managed to flee before law enforcement arrived on the scene, but was later captured on Monday.
Andrei Chiose, a 45-year-old resident of Toronto, has been charged with multiple offenses, including criminal harassment, distributing child sexual abuse material, and breaching probation.
