While several videos claiming to depict the event have circulated on social media, their authenticity has not been confirmed by authorities.
The footage appears to show a group of individuals engaged in a scuffle before one of them is struck by a car while crossing the street.
Sgt. Yim highlighted the involvement of multiple individuals in the initial altercation and confirmed that witness interviews are ongoing.
