Police in Toronto are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a violent altercation that left a victim with severe, life-changing injuries. The incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday, April 12, 2025, in the Pearl and Duncan streets vicinity.
According to investigators, a confrontation erupted between two groups at approximately 2:20 a.m., resulting in a physical assault by the suspect on the victim. The suspect, described as a man in his twenties, stands at five foot eight, weighs around 140 pounds, and has a slender physique with black hair and a black mustache.
At the time of the incident, the suspect was seen wearing a black athletic-style balaclava, a shiny black puffer jacket over a white shirt, black pants, and black shoes. Following the assault, the suspect fled the scene and currently remains at large.
Toronto police have released images of the suspect and are urging anyone with information to come forward to assist in the investigation.
