Toronto authorities have unveiled photographs of two individuals believed to be responsible for breaking into a residence in Scarborough and perpetrating a violent attack on its occupants last month.
The incident occurred late in the evening on Thursday, January 22, in the vicinity of Kennedy and Ellesmere roads.
According to investigators, the two suspects forcibly entered the home after knocking on its door and confronting the individual who answered.
Reportedly, the suspects initiated an assault on one victim while demanding money. Subsequently, they seized a sum of cash before a second victim intervened, leading one of the suspects to brandish a knife.
One of the perpetrators allegedly stabbed the second victim in the abdomen before fleeing the scene.
Suspect 1, depicted in the images below, is described as a male aged between 20 and 25, standing at five feet seven inches with a medium build.
Suspect 2, also shown in the pictures, is reported to be in the same age range and approximately five feet five inches tall with a slim physique.
Authorities have issued a warning that the suspects are armed and dangerous, urging the public not to approach them if spotted and to immediately contact 9-1-1.
