Early Saturday morning, a fire broke out in a residential building in Montreal North, resulting in injuries to two individuals, one of whom was a firefighter.
The incident occurred around 3 a.m. at a four-story building situated on Léger Boulevard, close to Armand-Lavergne Avenue, as reported by TVA Nouvelles.
A total of eighty-five firefighters rushed to the scene and managed to contain the blaze within a span of less than two hours.
Unfortunately, one civilian and a firefighter sustained injuries during the operation.
As of now, the cause of the fire remains uncertain, and there has been no official investigation initiated into the matter.
