Pacific Blvd. closure begins Saturday in preparation for FIFA

A stretch of Pacific Boulevard will close this weekend ahead of the arrival of the FIFA World Cup.

Starting Saturday, the road will close to vehicle traffic between Carrall and Smithe streets until “late-July.”

The seven match days in Vancouver are:

Businesses in the affected areas are not required to close on game days, but some access may be restricted.

From June 11 to July 20, Granville Street will be closed to vehicle traffic between Georgia and Davie streets for the Granville Street Pedestrian Zone.
