Montreal invests $25M to build 350 affordable homes in Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie

Montreal is investing $25.1 million in a project to build four residential buildings in Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie, totalling 350 affordable and eco-friendly housing units.

The funding is going to the Société du Patrimoine Angus Résidentiel.

The city says it’s part of its commitment to solving the housing crisis.

The four buildings, which will be built in the Angus Technopark, will include a total 121 one-bedroom units, 134 two-bedroom units, and 95 three-bedroom units. There will also be 225 parking spaces, 350 indoor storage units, and nearly 1,000 bicycle parking spaces.

The entire project is expected to be completed by the end of next year. The first tenants could move in as early as next summer.
