“CN Tower Lights Up in Tribute to Salsa on St. Clair Shooting Victims”

The CN Tower will dim its lights every hour on Sunday evening to pay respects to the victims of the tragic shooting incident at the Salsa on St. Clair festival that took place on Saturday night.

Officials have announced that in memory of the victims, the iconic tower’s lights will be dimmed at the beginning of each hour.

The festival turned into a scene of violence when gunfire erupted, resulting in the loss of two lives and causing serious injuries to at least four individuals.

According to Toronto Police, approximately 13,000 individuals were present at the festival venue on St. Clair Avenue West and Arlington Avenue when the shooting occurred just after 8 p.m. on Saturday.

Eyewitnesses described a harrowing experience of hearing multiple gunshots followed by chaotic scenes of people fleeing in panic amid the sounds of screams.
