The Delta Police Department (DPD) is currently looking into a mysterious incident involving the discovery of a deceased woman alongside a fire at an industrial site.
According to reports, the DPD received a call to investigate a field located on River Road, just south of Westminster Highway, at around 6 a.m. on Wednesday.
Authorities have stated that their team of investigators is actively working to unravel the circumstances surrounding the death and to identify the deceased individual.
Individuals who were present in the vicinity early Wednesday morning and may have witnessed anything unusual or have dashcam footage from the area are urged to reach out to the DPD at 604-946-4444.
