Police Locate Vehicle in Hit-and-Run Case; Perpetrator Remains at Large

Toronto authorities have successfully tracked down the vehicle involved in a recent hit-and-run incident, but the driver is still at large.

The incident occurred as a 34-year-old woman was crossing the street near Lansdowne and Brandon Avenues around 8:36 p.m. on August 26. A white hatchback was speeding south on Lansdowne Avenue and struck the pedestrian outside the crosswalk, causing serious injuries.

Despite the discovery of the vehicle by detectives on Friday, the driver remains unidentified, and police are continuing their investigation into the matter.
